Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Former Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan, with the permission of the Speaker, raised a strong objection in the House on the arrest of former minister and four-time MLA Syed Shaukat Shah from inside the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat and called the police. He used strong words and poetry to attack the government benches and he declared the members of the assembly as puppets, acknowledging the biggest sin in his 40-year political life for giving constitutional protection to the migrant members of the assembly and electing the current Leader of the House, Anwarul Haq, and confirming the statement of throwing the migrant members of the assembly into a drain instead of a river, in accordance with their character. He started his conversation with poems.
Upon Raja Farooq Haider’s attention, a written complaint of the matter to the Speaker and ordered an investigation and determination of those responsible. Raja Farooq Haider Khan, with the permission of the Speaker, drew the Speaker’s attention to the point of objection and said that on the day of presenting the budget, former member of the assembly, Syed Shaukat Shah, accompanied him to the assembly secretariat, where he went to the party president, who was sitting in the Speaker’s chamber. Addressing the house, Raja Farooq Haider Khan said, “These 12 members of the Assembly were the product of an ordinance. We gave them constitutional protection.
