Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Former prime minister Azad Kashmir Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider Khan has said that the government is trying unsuccessfully to protect a person with a fake state subject.
The cabinet can not make a non-state citizen a state citizen. In this regard, we will take action against it at all constitutional and legal forums.
The treatment meted out to Syed Shaukat Shah is condemnable. It is the responsibility of the Speaker to maintain the honor and respect of the House. Not against the refugees but will stop those who commit fraud by using their name.
In Azad Kashmir, communities have a monopoly. No one even asks those belonging to small communities, don’t they have the right to live? This attitude has to change. There should not be separate laws for the powerful and weak.
He expressed these views while talking to delegations from all over Azad Kashmir at the Legislative Assembly Secretariat. He said that instead of temporary appointments, permanent appointments should be made to the vacant posts till the next examination of the candidates who are currently on the waiting list in the NTS merit list.
It is unfortunate that those who have passed the exams, are being given temporary appointments. They have passed the competitive examination. They should be appointed on a permanent basis. The government has no direction or policy due to which problems are arising. In response to a question, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan said that when public issues are not discussed in the elected house of Azad Kashmir, the feeling of deprivation will increase among the people.
He said that Legislative Assembly proceedings should be broadcast live on local cable operators and social media so that people can see how their elected representatives represent them in the House.
