he Gigantic Project Marks Advent of A New Dawn In Latest Housing Sector in AJK
MIRPUR (AJK), (Parliament Times) : Azad Jammu Kashmir’s fast developing lake city of Mirpur achieved a major breakthrough in the world-class housing sector matching to attract the continual investment in real estate sector in this scenic region of Kashmir besides rapid progress and prosperity in all other fields of life.
The initiative was marked after a “Grand Entry” ceremony for launching gigantic City Housing project at the parephary of picturesque Mangla dam lake, was formally inaugurated by the chief guests Raja Naveed Akhter Goga and Country Head of the City Housing Developers in Pakistan Rana Zahid, with great enthusiasm and resolve, it was officially said by the host managements, our Special Jammu Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao reports.
The grand ceremony held at Jabeer Marki Mirpur was attended among others by a large number of dignitaries, businessmen, lawyers, journalists, officials of government and semi government functioneries besides other citizens from all over Azad Jammu Kashmir, according to the management of the city housing Developers group, besides the District Council Chairman ‘s sources.
Addressing the ceremony, City Housing Country Head Rana Zahid and Chairman District Council Mirpur Raja Naveed Akhtar Goga said that City Housing Scheme Mirpur was being developed according to international standards. “The mega project, first of its own kind in AJK, spread over four thousand kanals, will not only provide an international lifestyle but will also provide employment opportunities to thousands of local population belonging to various technical fields of life besides the unskilled local manpower, they added.
Reiterating their commitment to the timely completion of the phased project, the District Council Chief Raja Naveed Akhtar Goga, Country Head Rana Zahid and life-time Chairman Azad Jammu and Kashmir Real Estate Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that since all the required NOCs have been obtained by fulfilling all the government rules and regulations, the development works have been started with full pace for completion of the first phase of the project within stipulated 03 years period.
Unveiling the salient features of the project , first of its own kind in AJK, the Country Head Rana Zahid said that besides all other facilities for recreation of life, space has been reserved in the project for a mega zoo park, water park, Asia’s largest park, and international food chains to provide a luxurious lifestyle to the citizens of Mirpur. Rana Zahid said “this would be our first project in Azad Jammu Kashmir, comprising all amenities of latest housing and soon after its completion other projects will be launched in all other major cities of the AJK State including Muzaffarabad, Kotli and Rawalakot besides other cities”, he added.
“The special thing about the project is that in the first phase, farm houses have been carved out over an area of four kanal each close to the banks of the Mangla dam lake, to be fully comprising which modern facilities”, he added.
Unveiling the cost and sizes of the plots in the housing project, Rana Zahid said that plots will be available on prices to be charged in installments including 5 Marla for Rs. 39,90,000, 10 Marla for Rs. 74,90,000, One Kanal for Rs. 1,39,90,000, 2 Kanal for Rs. 2,49,00,000 and 04 Kanal Farm house for Rs. 4,50,00,000.
“All plots will be booked in installments, and no development charges will be charged from the allottees”, he announced adding only Jammu Kashmir State subject persons including AJK bonafide citizens will be eligible for allotment of plots in the newly launched City Housing Scheme in Mirpur AJK.
Addressing the ceremony, Chairman District Council Mirpur Raja Naveed Akhtar Goga said that this city housing project will prove to be a milestone in the development and prosperity of Mirpur.
The District Council Chairman said that the four-kanal measurd farm houses will be sold in just next six days on first come -first secure basis, which, he added, crystal clears public’trust and confidence in this project, he added.
