MIRPUR (AJK), (Parliament Times) : Like rest of the world, Azad Jammu Kashmir also observed World Fathers Day on Sunday with renewal of the pledge to love fathers to highest extent to keep the sole satisfied in view of the most dignified and supreme status of this relation at part with the supreme relation of mother, as also enshrined in the teachings of Islam.
Sons and daughters conveyed good wishes to their fathers coupled with the pray for long lives of the fathers to keep the children intact with the blessing of this supreme relation side by side the mother. Whereas those unfortunate, who have lost this relation, prayed for the rest of the souls of their fathers in eternal peace.
Kids cut the father’s day cakes as the day of June 15 started at 12.01 a.m to mark the day conveying good wishes and prayers for the long healthy wealthy and prosperous lives of their respective fathers.
Addressing a simple but impressive ceremony hosted here on Sunday to mark the universal fathers day with veteran Sr. Kashmiri Journalist and Kashmir Press Club Mirpur-AJK President Syed Abid Hussain Shah in the Chair, speakers including President Jammu Kashmir Union of Journalists Hafiz Maqsood, Convener Jammu Kashmir Free Media Association, senior Kashmiri Journalist Altaf Hamid Rao, Secretary General Kashmir Press Club Mirpur Sohrab Ahmed Khan, ex Kashmir Press Club Mirpur President Sajaad Jiraal, Sr. Journalists and Convener International Union of Writers Zaffar Mughal, PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) AJK Chapter President Ch. Muneer Hussain Advocate and others highlighted the superiority and importance of this relation as also confided and determined in the teachings of Islam. Speakers emphasized the need for maintaining the high decorum of the relation of father through showing maximum respect and honor of this superior relation all the time.
Highlighting the supremacy of the father, speakers continued that the World Father Day was a great delight and every one should deal with the father most pleasantly coupled with full respect and honor.
Speakers continued Father’s Day has become a day to not only honor our hard working fathers, but also all men who act as a father figure. Step-fathers, uncles, grandfathers, and adult male friends count too and are all honored on Father’s Day as well.
The ceremony prayed for the rest of those departed souls who left to the ultimate abode after performing the role of highly characterful and responsible fathers in line with the need of this supreme relation, like mothers, for their rest in eternal peace.
“Father’s Day is observed every year. Like most sons or daughters, we are concerned about trying to get just the right gift that shows just how much we really love our father. What better way to honor our hard working father by purchasing for him some new high quality and incredibly comfortable Pakistan-made socks”, Speakers said while ventilating hearfelt feelings for this most noble relation besides the supreme relation of mother.
Speakers said that the gravity of deep-rooted love for a father should also be asked from those hearts who lost this great relation and whom fathers are under maunds of ‘Matti’ (earth refuse). They said that although father is a small word but the reality hidden in this word was ascertained only to those who, by now, have deprived of this most superior relation.
Speakers emphasized for obeying the healthy advice of father all the time to keep soul satisfied besides fully acting upon the Islamic teachings which enshrined the superior status of the relations of father and mother.
