Lahore, (PR) : US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A Baker called on Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at Punjab House Islamabad. During the meeting, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan appealed to US President Trump through US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A Baker, to intervene in stopping the ongoing atrocities and killing of innocent people in Gaza and to call for a ceasefire. US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker assured to convey the message of the Governor Punjab to US President Donald Trump.
Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan further said that the US President has promoted peace in the world by brokering a ceasefire between Pakistan and India. He said that President Trump should play his role in Gaza as well as he did in the Pakistan-India ceasefire. The Punjab Governor said that the Pakistani army has made immense sacrifices in the war on terror. He said that Pakistan is a peaceful country and desires peace with its neighboring countries. The Punjab Governor said that the diplomatic delegation led by Bilawal Bhutto presented its stance to the whole world, including the United States. He said that India has not been able to present evidence of the Pahalgam attack to the world till date. The Punjab Governor said that the Pakistani nation salutes the unparalleled leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir. He said that the role of President Asif Ali Zardari’s contribution to the development and prosperity of the country has been substantial. US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker appreciated the positive views of Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan about the United States and the President.
