Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : The parliamentary party meeting of the coalition partners was held here today with Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq in the chair.

The meeting was attended by members of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Muslim League-Nawaz and Forward Bloc.

Participants of the meeting expressed their full confidence in the leadership of the Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq.

The crucial meeting took key decisions including the issuance of health cards in the upcoming financial year to address the region’s health-care challenges.

The coalition parties unanimously supported the government’s initiative, terming it as a step in the right direction.

The parliamentary party meeting also discussed the strategy for the upcoming budget 2025 in detail.

The meeting, while voicing it’s all out support to Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom struggle, stated that the base camp government would utilize all resources to highlight the Kashmir issue effectively both at national and international level.

The meeting expressed the coalition government’s resolve to complete work on ongoing development projects besides strengthening the governance system, making it effective and transparent so that the common man gets relief.

The meeting expressed its determination to ensure equitable distribution of all development funds in the recently announced budget 2025.

It was also agreed in principle to take effective and timely measures for development of youth, children and skilled people, within and outside the state.

The participants of the meeting also condemned the provocative actions of India and its subversive activities aimed at creating unrest in the region.

They also appreciated the countermeasures taken by Pakistan to foil India’s nefarious designs.

The meeting also expressed strong determination to formulate a comprehensive strategy to deal with possible challenges including suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty by Indian and it’s aggression on the LoC.

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that the government was cognisant of problems being faced by the people.

The government, he said, took bold steps to solve people’s health-related problems. ” The decision to issue health cards to underprivileged will provide significant relief to vulnarable sections of society”, the PM said, adding that public welfare remains a top priority of the present government.

He also highlighted the coalition government’s decision to provide subsidized flour and low-cost electricity to the citizens as unparalleled.

The coalition government, he said, has successfully countered the India’s disinformation campaign aimed at spreading unrest and chaos in Azad Kashmir.

The prime minister also praised the armed forces of Pakistan for making immense sacrifices in defending the country’s territorial sovereignty.

The current government, he said, ensured immediate disbursement of relief funds to families of martyrs and those injured in Indian attacks along on the LoC recently.

He also reiterated his resolve to uphold the ideology of Pakistan laid down by ancestors. He said that the government would spare no efforts in advancing the Kashmir cause and taking the ongoing freedom movement to its logical conclusion.
