Islamabad/ MIRPUR (AJK)(Parliament Times) : The President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has approved a 60-day special remission in prisoners’ sentences (except for those convicted of terrorism and serious crimes), under Article 10 of the interim constitution of AJK, 1974.
The remission was granted to prisoners lodged in various jails of Azad Kashmir in observance of the Eid ul Adha.
