Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : In his speech at the end of the stage drama Balakada held on the eleventh day of the Regional Drama Festival under the auspices of Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi. The play was written and directed by renowned artist Arshad Minhas. In this play, the rights of transgenders were discussed that they are also a part of the society and they should also get rights like other citizens. In this play, renowned artists
Arshad Minhas, Maryam, Mastana, Ali Janjua, Ali Sher, Adil Alvi, Hameedullah Khan and Afzal Latifi demonstrated their art in a rich manner.
Which was greatly appreciated by the people. A large number of people including families, civil officers, political and social figures, media friends and artists participated in this program and thanked the Provincial Minister for Information and Culture, Government of Punjab, Madam Azma Bukhari, who initiated effective cultural activities for the free entertainment of the people of Rawalpindi, Islamabad.
This festival will continue till June 5, with free entry.
