Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Former President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan has said that the Pakistan Peoples Party in Azad Kashmir is getting stronger with every passing day, which is a declaration of the fact that the leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party Sardar Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Ms, Benazir Bhutto live in the hearts of the people.
The Pakistan Peoples Party is following its manifesto, Bread, Clothes, and Housing. Providing basic facilities like transportation, health, and education in backward areas is among our top priorities.
He expressed these thoughts while addressing a ceremony held in Khai Gula Dothan area of Kot where hundreds of people, led by Sardar Noor, Sardar Abrar Syed, Aslam Tahir, Asghar, Dr. Khaliq, and Sagheer Chaudhry, left various political parties and joined PPP.
The new members had complete trust in Sardar Yaqub Khan and said that Sardar Yaqub Khan is the spokesperson of public aspirations and is taking all possible steps for public rights.
On this occasion, Sardar Yaqoob Khan welcomed the new members and assured them that they would be given a legitimate place in the party and the self-respect of the workers would be taken care of.
He further said that in the upcoming elections, the Pakistan Peoples Party will win with a two-thirds majority and form the government in Azad Kashmir.
He said that Pakistan People’s Party is the only party that is playing the most active role in highlighting the Kashmir Liberation Movement on the global stage, and the establishment of development and reconstruction institutions in Azad Kashmir became possible only during the Pakistan People’s Party’s rule. After coming to power again, Azad Kashmir was shown as an ideal state and the basic problems of the people were solved at their doorsteps.
