MURREE/PAKISTAN (Parliament Times): Hazrat Pir Aulia Badshah Farooq Sajjadah Nasheen Central Darbar Mohra Sharif here has expressed the firm resolve of the mashaikh and ulema of Pakistan to re-exert all moral and spiritual resources for the powerful spread of Islamic faith, brotherhood, social unity and stability of Pakistan. He expressed this resolve at the conclusion of 3-day well participated 167 annual Urs of Mashaikh Mohra Sharif here Sunday evening. Ulema and mashaikh attending the Urs sessions from all over Pakistan and from abroad offered prayerful thanks to Allah Almighty for crowning with victory the state, people and the armed forces of Pakistan with May 10, 2025 Bunyanun Marsoos defense war with India.
Scholars highlighted the role of Mohra Sharif spiritual centre in the critical phase of 1940-47 Pakistan Movement as well as in the 1947-48 Kashmir liberation war led by Mohra Sharif’s Patron-Saint Aala Hazrat Pir Mohammad Zahid Khan known as Pir Khan Sahib Gharibunnawaz. Besides several others Wali Ehd Pir Ahmed Farooq Zahid, Dr. Pir Fazeel Ayyaz Qasimi and Pir Zahid Qasim Ghazni in their speeches advised devotees and disciples for their strenuous spiritual character-building as the hallmark of teachings of mashaikh and spiritual centres. Prime success of mashaikh, they recalled, was the spread of Islam everywhere including South Asia that ultimately led to the emergence of the distinct Pakistan Movement. Lives of nations, they added, are full of toughest challenges all across the globe but it is socio-ideological unity in Islam that helps overcome all trials and adversities.
Special congregational prayers were offered on the occasion for the geo-ideological stability of Pakistan and for early liberation of Kashmir and Palestine. Participants were served with traditional lungar and peaceful farewell by Sajjadah Nasheen Hazrat Pir Aulia Badshah Farooq.
