Turbat, (Parliament Times) : The University of Turbat Quality Circle (UTQC) held its third meeting, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, Vice Chancellor of the University (UoT), to review progress on institutional quality enhancement initiatives.
In his opening remarks, the Vice Chancellor reaffirmed the University’s commitment to promoting a culture of excellence in academic and administrative affairs. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to strengthen quality assurance mechanisms, promote innovation in teaching and research, and uphold transparency, efficiency, and accountability across all administrative functions. He further highlighted the importance of systematically “closing the loop” in all quality assurance activities initiated by the UTQC.
The forum formally endorsed the minutes of the second UTQC meeting and reviewed the Action Taken Report. Members discussed the implementation status of the Higher Education Commission’s Revamped Quality Assurance Framework. The Vice Chancellor commended the proactive role of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) and members of the Quality Circle and reiterated the University’s strong commitment to continuous monitoring, institutional accountability, and meaningful stakeholder engagement in alignment with national quality standards.
The meeting was attended by members of the UTQC, including deans, directors, and heads of academic and administrative departments.
