Baseless Indian allegations, it’s Aftermath and the Responsibilities of the UNO and international community

History witnesses whenever Pakistan,s economy takes off, Indian policymakers starts baseless allegations of terrorism on Pakistan, creates self_created incidents and then blames Pakistan for that. On the flip side, Pakistan offers bilateral or investigation by international community to probe the incidents, which India has been rejecting.

In 2008, when Bombay blasts took place in Bombay, in 2016 Uri attack and Pulwama bombing which took place in 2019, India blamed Pakistan for those attacks. To prove those allegations false Pakistan offered investigations of those incidents which India denied. The recent incident of Pahalgam is the continuation of baseless Indian blame_game mantra against Pakistan. For instance, the New York times writes that, “Pakistan called for International inquiry into Kashmir terror attack.” It quotes defense minister of Pakistan Khwaja Asif that, “Mr. Asif said that India had used the aftermath of the terror attack as a pretext to suspend the water treaty, and for domestic political purposes. India, he said, was taking steps to punish Pakistan “without any proof, without any investigation.”

Why India does such? Analysts are of the opinion that whenever Pakistan,s economy takes off, Venom in the Veins of Indian leadership starts running. Holding abyence the Indus water treaty (IWT) by India testifies that India has decided to damaged the agriculture_based economy of Pakistan. The Reuters reports that, “Moody’s said the standoff could hurt Pakistan’s $350 billion economy, which is on a path to recovery after securing a $7 billion bailout programme from the International Monetary Fund last year and staving off a default threat. “Sustained escalation in tensions with India would likely weigh on Pakistan’s growth and hamper the government’s ongoing fiscal consolidation, setting back Pakistan’s progress in achieving macroeconomic stability.” This reports testifies that creating war_like situation favours India while Pakistan has always pleged for peace.

Umar Farooq in the Friday times writes, “There are perceptive and well informed people in Islamabad who are of the opinion that Indian military strikes are deliberately timed to coincide with the of IMF review board meeting-the strikes took place on the night of May 7, while the board of IMF will meet on Friday, May 9, “to discuss the first review of the ongoing $7 billion bailout programme as well as a new $1.3 billion arrangement under a climate resilience loan programme.”

The consequences of war will not be limited to Pakistan only. The Bloomberg asserts that, “India and Pakistan edge toward a conflict neither can afford.” Whilst, the Bloomberg writes India’s surging economy, now more than eight times the size of Pakistan’s, has more to lose in a conflict. In the presence of Trump trade war which will affect India too, Indian strikes against Pakistan will not only be limited to affect the economy of Pakistan but will also be disastrous for India too. The insane Modi government must take it in consideration.

On the other hand, Indian political leaders are voicings against Pahalgam incident and are relating it to Modi and refering it as a pre_planneed incident by the Fascist Modi regime. Mehbooba Mufti an ex_CM of Kashmir called it a political stunt and pre_planned. She demanded investigation from Modi government. Moreover, Satiapal Malik an ex_governor of Indian occupied Kashmir said Modi is making the nation fool on the incident of Pahalgam. The Times of India writes by quoting Malkajan Gharki the President of Indian Congress,” It was a pre_planned incident created by Modi regime. Malkajan Gharki asserted that Modi had intelligence report about this incident but he remained reticent. [CONTINUE]

He asked why did Modi not stop the incident? This reflects that Modi regime itself created this incident to blame Pakistan. After rejecting Pakistan,s offer of investigation about the incident India launched strikes on many sites and cities in Pakistan in which innocent citizen have killed. In response, Pakistani officials assert that Pakistan has the right of retaliation as per international law as article 51 of the UN charter says that, ” Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defence if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations.”

Indian false flag operations don’t favour humanity and peace. These operations result in nothing rather than deaths and devestation. The aftermath of Pahalgam incident and immature response of India is disastrous. War is always a curse. Pakistani leadership laudly deserve appreciation that has never initiated strikes against India while India did start first.

There is a dire need of bringing peace and normalisation of relations between both countries for which the UN and international community should start mediatory role. Pakistan,s offer of investigation must be appreciated and be given weight by international community while Indian stubbornness and false allegations need a cold fist. Will Sanity prevail? Will international community and the UN pay heed to their responsibilities? Will the UN charter and international law be given priority in the presence of the madness of Modi?
