Jeddah (By Noor-ul-Hassan Gujar) : Former Chairman of Jammu & Kashmir Community Overseas, Sardar Waqas Inayat, has said that the Kashmir issue is an internationally recognized dispute, and according to UN resolutions, it is the responsibility of the global community to ensure the right to self-determination for the people of Kashmir. He emphasized that the world must open its eyes and become the voice of the oppressed Kashmiri people.

He condemned the severe human rights violations being carried out by India in the occupied territory and expressed disappointment over the silence of international organizations. “The time has come for the United Nations and other world powers to make sincere efforts to resolve the Kashmir issue in order to ensure lasting peace in South Asia,” he said.

Sardar Waqas Inayat paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces, stating that their befitting response to enemy aggression has made the entire nation proud. He affirmed that Pakistan’s defense is in strong and capable hands, and that children born in this century will narrate stories of the bravery, sacrifices, and patriotism of the Pakistan Army to future generations.

He further stated that no compromise can be made on the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan. “The entire nation stands like a rock with its armed forces and is ready to defeat the nefarious designs of the enemy on every front,” he added.
