Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : International media representatives are invited to visit the Line of Control (LoC) and civilian areas to meet with the families of martyrs who were unlawfully targeted and killed by the Indian military in violation of international laws.

The International Digital Media Union of Journalists strongly condemns these cowardly and inhumane actions by the Indian armed forces.

President of the International Digital Media Union of Journalists, Sahibzada Zulfiqar Babar, and Secretary General, Muhammad Hanif Tabassum, have expressed their readiness to host international media representatives.

    Islamabad (Press Release):
An emergency meeting of the International Digital Media Union of Journalists was convened, in which President Sahibzada Zulfiqar Babar, Secretary General Muhammad Hanif Tabassum, and other members participated. The meeting concluded with the announcement that international media delegates will be invited and hosted for a visit to the Line of Control and nearby civilian areas. The delegation will meet the families of those martyred by Indian military aggression in civilian zones—an act that stands as a blatant violation of international law.

The Union strongly denounces this brutal and cowardly aggression by India. Targeting civilian populations is a gross breach of international humanitarian and war laws.

The Union urges the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the global community, and human rights organizations to take immediate notice of these barbaric violations and hold India accountable for its continuous breach of ceasefire agreements.

The International Digital Media Union of Journalists calls upon international media representatives to raise their voices through print, electronic, and digital platforms against India’s unprovoked attacks on civilian populations and the tragic loss of innocent lives.

President Sahibzada Zulfiqar Babar and Secretary General Muhammad Hanif Tabassum reiterate their full preparedness to host the international media.
