ATTOCK: Deputy Commissioner ATTOCK Rao Attif Raza on Thursday while reviewing the overall plan strategy of the health department to make the inter provincial bordering district ATTOCK polio and dengue free zone of the Punjab. The Chief Executive Officer Health Authority ATTOCK Dr Asad Ismail during his briefing session has told that the anti polio vaccine drops will be administered to more than three lacs children aging upto five years from May 26 which will be continued till May 30, 2025 without any break. The meeting was also attended by the Assistant Commissioners of all tehsils, head of various departments and representatives of World Health Organization. The participants were told that well trained staff will be deployed to administer anti polio drops to the children at their door steps besides all entrance and exit points of the district amid tight security. On this occasion Rao Attif Raza directed the relevant authorities to make sure their full cooperation and coordination during the entire exercise. Meanwhile, Additional Deputy Commissioner ATTOCK Mr Aneel Saeed also chaired the meeting of anti dengue fever program and advised the health department to implement their plan in it’s true spirit. The meeting was also briefed by the antamologist Mr Shafique Mughal.
