Lahore, (PR) :The Ambassador of Finland Hannu Ripatti called on Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at Governor House Lahore. Honorary Consul General of Finland in Pakistan Durre Ahmed was also present in the meeting. Mutual cooperation between the two countries and India’s recent aggression were discussed in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that India is the biggest terrorist state which has not only targeted Pakistan but also Sikhs in Australia and Canada. He said that the Indian army has shown its cowardly actions by targeting innocent people in the urban areas of Pakistan. The Punjab Governor said that in response, our Pakistan army did not target the urban areas and unarmed people of India, but instead retaliated vigorously for self-defense and targeted their military installations. He said that at this time the entire nation stands by its army against India’s war madness. The Punjab Governor further said that Pakistan wants peace, but India should not consider this as our weakness. He said that India is involved in destabilizing the situation on the Afghan border, KPK and especially in Balochistan. The Punjab Governor said that India is involved in creating instability in Pakistan by funding terrorist organizations. He said that India itself has created the drama of the Pahalgam attack. The Governor of Punjab said that Pakistan is already a victim of terrorism. Governor of Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that Pakistan is committed to further promoting cooperation with Finland in various fields including education.
On this occasion, the Ambassador of Finland, Hannu Ripatti, expressed solidarity with Pakistan against India’s aggression and condoled the martyrdom of innocent citizens. The Governor of Punjab thanked the Ambassador of Finland and expressed the hope that he would show the world the real face of India. Ambassador of Finland Hannu Ripatti said that Pakistan and Finland are currently engaged in cooperation and exchange programmes in various fields, including education.
