    PM AJK urges overseas Kashmiris to redouble their efforts to highlight the human rights violations in IOJ&K

    The delegation overseas Kashmiris was led by President Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK Faheem Kayani

    Islamabad, (Parliament Times): Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chudhary Anwar ul Haq has urged overseas Kashmiris to redouble their efforts to highlight the human rights violations being committed by Indian occupation forces against Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir at the international level.

    He said this while talking to an overseas delegation that called on him here today under the leadership of Faheem Kiyani the President Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK and All Parties Kashmir Alliance UK.
    Speaking on the occasion, the PM apprised the visiting delegation of the measures being taken at government level to thwart any potential adventure by India on the LoC.

    The Prime Minister also informed the participants about the steps taken for the development and welfare of the people.

    The government, he said, has taken a number initiatives to ensure a sustainable development in the region as well as welfare of its people.

    Referring to the rapidly changing scenario in the region following the India’s false flag operation, the PM said that it was high time to expose Indian conspiracies aimed at jeopardizing peace and stability in South Asia.

    The PM stated that India was using Phalgam incident as a tool to malign Pakistan and Kashmiris’ liberation struggle. Referring to intensified state repression in Kashmir following the Pahalgam incident, the AJK premier said that along with persecution of civilians, the Indian occupation forces have demolished the homes of the common Kashmiris under the fresh wave of state terrorism.

    “He said that there was a complete consensus on the issue of Kashmir in Azad Kashmir.

    The PM stressed the need for
    a coordinated strategy to thwart the conspiracies of the enemy.

    He also praised the expatriate community’s efforts to highlight Kashmir issue globally.

    The PM sought the diaspora community’s more vibrant role in sensitizing the world about the plight of Kashmiri people and early resolution of Kashmir dispute.

    The visiting delegation also appreciated the PM for taking courageous stand on the issue of Kashmir and exposing India’s nefarious designs in the region.

    The meeting was attended by the President of the Kashmir Movement Scotland, Bailey Hanif Raja MBE, the President of the Kashmir Movement Italy, Chaudhry Babar Warraich, Hurriyat leader Altaf Ahmed Butt and others.

    During the meeting, it was decided to adopt a joint strategy to raise international awareness about the current situation in Kashmir issue and broader Kashmir issue at the international level.
