Dubai, (PR) : President of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Gulf Middle East and well-known businessman, Mian Munir Hans, has stated that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has made it clear that the party will protect the Constitution of Pakistan. He emphasized that drafting the Constitution and making laws is the responsibility of the Parliament, which, according to the Constitution, is the supreme institution of the country.Speaking to the media, Mian Munir Hans reaffirmed PPP’s commitment to upholding constitutional supremacy in Pakistan. He highlighted that President Asif Ali Zardari was the first in the country’s history to transfer presidential powers to the Parliament, strengthening democracy. He stressed that all state institutions must abide by the Constitution approved by the Parliament.
He further stated that PPP was responsible for granting provincial autonomy and has always worked for the country’s betterment. “People try to sell lies and poison the minds of the public, but it was Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who gave Pakistan its Constitution and made it a nuclear power,” he remarked.Mian Munir Hans expressed confidence that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would soon become Pakistan’s youngest Prime Minister and address all deprivations faced by the people.
