    Pride of Hazara Summit Held at Hazara University Mansehra on International Women’s Day

    Mansehra, (PR) : In collaboration with the Young Leaders Parliament and the District Youth Office Mansehra, Hazara University hosted the Pride of Hazara Summit on March 8 to commemorate International Women’s Day. The event honored talented, skilled, and high-achieving women from the Hazara region with the “Pride of Hazara Award.” The purpose of the award was to recognize and appreciate their professional contributions and accomplishments.

    The event’s chief guest was Professor Dr. Mohsin Nawaz, Vice Chancellor of Hazara University. Other distinguished attendees included Assistant Commissioner Mansehra Muneeba Fatima, District Youth Office Mansehra Officer Alam Zeb Khan, representatives from the District Sports Office, Chairman of Political Science & International Relations Dr. Adil Seemab Adil Peer , and Divisional Leader of the Young Leaders Parliament Sikandar Khan Khalil. Additionally, women leaders, poets, motivational speakers, members of the Young Leaders Parliament, and a large number of students from Hazara University participated.

    Addressing the event, Dr. Mohsin Nawaz paid tribute to the talented women of Hazara Division and highlighted their role in society.

    Sikandar Khan Khalil shared his views, emphasizing the immense potential of women in the Hazara region. He stated that women are an integral part of society and play a crucial role in its development. However, due to a lack of resources, many women face challenges. He expressed his optimism about seeing them achieve great success in the future.

    Other speakers, including Dr. Adil Seemab, journalist Sher Afzal Gujar, Assistant Commissioner Mansehra, and Assistant Professor Hajira Anwar, also spoke about the significance of International Women’s Day and the vital role of women in society.

    At the end of the ceremony, the Pride of Hazara Awards and certificates of appreciation were presented to the honored women to encourage them to continue making positive contributions to society.
