Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Khaliq Gujjar, a long-time leader of Muslim League-N Azad Kashmir, has said that police firing shelling and shelling on innocent citizens in Rawalakot Poonch under the guise of unconstitutional and basic human rights-depriving ordinances such as the Peaceful Assembly Order Ordinance 024 2. The leader of Muslim League-N Azad Kashmir Khaleeq Gujjar has said that he strongly condemns the brutal violence.
The government should ensure the immediate and unconditional release of the innocent citizens who were not arrested in time, otherwise the responsibility of all the situations will fall on the government. He said that peaceful protest is the fundamental right of every citizen of the state which is protected by the state constitution. The current government has not only violated the rights of innocent citizens by passing an unconstitutional and illegal ordinance.
Rather, it has given the administration complete freedom to deal with the people of the state as they wish. Demand cancellation/withdrawal of the immediate Ordinance.
