    British Kashmiri community elders remember Jammu Martyrs with glorious tributes

    MIRPUR ( AJK),  (Parliament Times) :  While paying rich tributes to the martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir visiting UK-Kashmiri Diaspora community elders including Councillor Liaquat Ali, former Mayor of the British city Waltham Forest and and Chaudhary Shaukat Ali, Chairman of Muslim Friends of Labor UK said the supreme sacrifices of the valiant sons of the soil will bear fruit through the success of freedom of the occupied part of the Jammu and Kashmir state from Indian unlawful occupation soon.

    These views were expressed by the two leaders, currently on visit to AJK, while addressing Jammu Martyrs Day Reference held under the auspices of the Kashmir Press Club here late Wednesday to pay rich tributes to over 0.70 million martyrs of Jammu who laid down their lives in this month in 1947 during the course of migration to Pakistan to save their lives after having been utterly sick and perplexed of the massacre if the Muslims by despotic dogra ruler besides occupational Indian forces and the RSS and identical hindu fanatics.

    They said that the UK-bases Kashmiri expatriates were playing an effective key role to highlight urgency of the early peaceful solution of Kashmir issue under the spirit of international norms and commitments. ” Kashmiri diaspora community was playing the vibrant role for the early liberation of oppressed Kashmiri brothers from India unlawful occupation besides being the Unofficial ambassador of Pakistan in the western world, they asserted.

    The British Kashmiri leader Councillor Liaquat Ali, former Mayor of the British city Waltham Forest said on this occasion that overseas Kashmiris always stand at the back of their brave armed forces of Pakistan. He said that since entire Pakistani nation stood sholder to shoulder with the Kashmiris in their just and principled struggle for right to self determination, it was enjoined upon United Nations and the international community to urgently play their effective, uneqyivocal and blunt role for the early liberation of Kashmiris from Indian shackles. “Overseas Kashmiris are playing their full role at the global front in this regard”, he added.

    Chaudhary Shaukat Ali, Chairman of Muslim Friends of Labor UK, Britain’s incumbent ruling party, said on this occasion that Kashmiri expatriates’ lives were dedicated to Kashmiris whom hearts beat with Pakistan in unison all the time. ” The love of which is embedded in our veins and we cannot forget it”.

    He said that supreme sacrifices of lives given by the martyrs of Jammu will surely bear fruit. “The time is not far away when the Kashmiri people will get freedom from the cruel illegal occupation of India”, he added.

    He underlined thar it had been globally recognized in the UN resolutions on Kashmir that the Kashmiri people will decide their future through a free and fair referendum, which is the primary responsibility of the United Nations to ensure to manage without further delay, he urged.

    The Kashmiri diaspora community leader said that despite the worst atrocities committed by India and the innocent Kashmiris in human history and the use of state power against the Kashmiris in IIOJK, the spirit of freedom among Kashmiris could not be cooled down, he underlined adding that in view of the string spirit of freedom, New Delhi could not keep the Kashmiris enslaved for a further long time under the guise of power.

    The gathering offered special prayer for the upgradation of martyrs of Jammu in Hannah besides praying for early success of Kashmiris struggle for right to self determination.

    Councilor Chaudhry Liaquat Ali, former mayor Chaudhry Nadeem Ali were accompanied by Kashmir origin British legal experts Barrister Omar Ali Chaudhry, Barrister Syed Hasnain Ali and others in the delegation.

    Syed Abid Hussain Shah, President of Kashmir Press Club Mirpur, also thanked the distinguished guests for coming to the press club and also paid tribute to the overseas Kashmiris for effectively highlighting the issue of Kashmir in foreign countries, Chaudhry Liaqat Ali and Chaudhry Shaukat Ali. He said that overseas Kashmiris are playing their full role for the stability and elevation of Pakistan and the development and prosperity of Azad Jammu Kashmir
