MD Amer Tufail to Inaugurates the Event
Lahore, (PR) : The Sui Northern Gas Sports Gala 2024 commences yesterday with women’s matches at Nishtar Park Stadium. The event will be officially inaugurated today by Managing Director Mr. Amer Tufail. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for 02 PM at the Punjab Stadium, where Mr. Tufail will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
On the opening day, women’s teams competed in badminton and table tennis matches held at the Nishtar Park Gymnasium Hall. Ms. Kanwal Wazir, Finance Secretary of the Sui Northern Sports Cell, was the Chief Guest for the women’s matches.
The four-day Sports Gala, which began on November 6, will conclude on November 9. A total of 368 male and female athletes from 23 regional teams will participate in the event. The Sports Gala features competitions in cricket, badminton, tug of war, table tennis, volleyball, athletics, and more.
