    Mir Ali Hassan Zehri

HUB,  (Parliament Times) : The world must decide on a joint and coordinated plan of action to deal with the ravages of climate change. In the last few years, climate change has had severe effects in Pakistan. These views were expressed by the senior central leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party, spokesperson President Asif Ali Zardari and Provincial Advisor for Industry and Crafts Mir Ali Hassan Zehri in a statement. He said that the major countries that cause climate change should help the countries affected by these catastrophic changes, especially Pakistan, in their difficult situation to be safe from the severe weather in the future. Due to climate changes, Pakistan especially in Balochistan has suffered severe damage to the infrastructure of Pakistan due to unexpected heavy rains and floods in the past years and Hub district was the most affected by these rains and floods. We have helped the people affected by these natural calamities according to our ability, but a strong plan must be set to deal with the severity of the climate.

Mir Ali Hassan Zehri further said that the responsibility of climate change is not Pakistan, but developed countries, while Pakistan being directly affected by environmental pollution. He said that severe climate change is a big challenge for the whole world, but Pakistan is having more negative effects of this change which Pakistan is dealing with on its own. He said more that unexpected rains occurred due to climate change and God willing, similar conditions will not be faced in the coming cold season. Mir Ali Hassan Zehri said that it is impossible to resist natural disasters but necessary steps can be taken to deal with the effects of climate change. Neither Pakistan nor any other country in the world can afford it. He said that rapid industrial development in developed countries has polluted the environment. Climate changes are taking place all over the world, including Europe, while the cold and hot seasons are intensifying. Where there used to be more rains, rains are stopping, while where there were less rains, due to severe weather changes, heavy and destructive rains have caused serious damage, an example of which is the series of unexpected rains in Pakistan in the past years.

He further said in his statement that pollution due to industries in developed countries has greatly increased the temperature of the planet; glaciers are melting rapidly causing floods is having a direct impact on Pakistan, which is a serious problem and Pakistan is also facing the situation resulting from the effects of this pollution, although Pakistan is not responsible for this environmental pollution, but the victim of pollution created by other countries. The Provincial Advisor on Industries and Crafts Mir Ali Hassan Zehri emphasized that to avoid climatic extremes we have to be serious now and put aside all kinds of political differences and make serious efforts to build dams so that our future generations can be protected from the effects of these disasters and the effects of extreme cold and hot seasons in addition to expected heavy rains and floods can be avoided due to the expected severe climate changes in the future
