Muzaffarabad,(Parliament Times) : Student Rights Movement Azad Jammu and Kashmir has once again become an all-out protest for student rights. Otherwise, it was announced to start a statewide protest with a student education boycott from October 28. According to the details, the leaders of Student Rights Azad Jammu and Kashmir including Chaudhry Ahsan Hameed, Ahmed Maqbool Khan Mughal, Raja Muhammad Shahid, Zeeshan Kashmiri and other leaders had earlier called for a two-day peaceful protest, but after mutual consultation, they postponed their call, but after the government and other institutions were cold-hearted, the students other students of Rights Movement Azad Jammu and Kashmir, including Mujibur Rahman, Abdul Rahman, Chaudhry Mahad, Raja Manan, Ayaan Sheikh, Arsal Rashid Baig and hundreds of other students gathered in front of the Central Journalism House in Shaheed Burhan Wani Chowk. He recorded an organized peaceful protest. On this occasion, the officials of Student Right Movement Azad Jammu and Kashmir and other students said that Muzaffarabad and Poonch Board should be established to eliminate the irregularities of Mirpur Board and to improve the system. Students demand that a new committee should be formed as soon as possible for the paper rechecking committee. Members from government sector should be recruited from schools. The members of the paper rechecking committee should be taken from Muzaffarabad and Poonch and the subject specialist should be included as a member of the committee so that the problems of the students can be resolved and satisfied. The student leaders asked the government to organize student union elections so that students can solve their problems on their own. He said that for the solution of all the problems and the draft prepared by Students Azad Jammu and Kashmir for the student union election, discussions should be started for revision and correctness. The Student Right Movement of Azad Jammu and Kashmir said that while condemning the violence on the peaceful protest of the students of Punjab College Lahore and Rawalkot, they demand that the students should be given the right to freedom of speech. He said that harassment cells should be established in all universities and especially Jamia Kashmir so that the honor and self-esteem of both students and girls can be protected. A uniform education system should be implemented for the supremacy of merit. He said that he rejects the committee formed by the Mirpur Board to remedy the injustice done to the students in the FSC Intermediate examination. Mirpur Board divisional offices created at the regional level should be empowered by bringing innovation in the system. Mirpur Board of Governors should have as many members from the government sectors as from the private sector as the percentage of students is much higher in the private sector. He said that we demand the owners of all the private schools of Azad Kashmir to join the Federal Board rejecting the education and student-killing policies of the Mirpur Board. Quota system should be extended for Kashmiri students in all universities in Pakistan. The government of Azad Kashmir made a strategy to solve hostel and other problems for Kashmiri students living in Pakistan.
