Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Engineer Amir Khattak conducted a detailed visit to Jhelum district. During this visit, he inspected the records of various government departments and assessed the facilities provided to citizens. The commissioner reviewed the Health Department offices, where he examined the medicine records and available stock. He also checked employee attendance and instructed that immediate measures be taken to enhance health facilities and ensure the availability of medicines. Subsequently, he visited the Education Department offices, where he assessed anti-dengue measures for students. He directed that educational institutions provide ongoing awareness about dengue virus prevention and develop regular programs in this regard.
The commissioner took immediate notice of citizens complaints at the Tehsil Office and issued orders for their prompt resolution. While chairing a divisional coordination meeting with deputy commissioners from all districts at the DC office, Engineer Amir Khattak received briefings on ongoing development projects, the Suthra Punjab program and anti-dengue initiatives in all districts. He stated that the timely completion of development projects would not only improve public facilities but also resolve citizens issues.
Engineer Amir Khattak instructed all relevant departments to collaborate effectively to enhance anti-dengue efforts. He also mentioned that if any dengue cases arise in a particular area, immediate action should be taken. He emphasized that improving citizens facilities is our top priority and every possible effort will be made to achieve this goal.
