Sargodha: The University of Sargodha, in collaboration with the Pakistan Institute of Chinese Studies and Confucius Institute, organized a ceremony to mark China’s National Day. A cake-cutting ceremony was held to commemorate the occasion.
Vice-Chancellor UoS Professor Dr. Qaisar Abbas guest graced the event as a chief guest. While online participation of Dr. Guo Yaling Director of the Pakistan Study Center at Hebei Normal University, faculty members of Henan Normal University and Hebei Normal University in China, China. A large number of university students also attended the event.
Dr. Qaisar Abbas highlighted relations between the two countries. The collaboration between our two nations, especially in education, is a testament to this unshakable partnership. In his remarks, he stated, “Today, we celebrate not just a national milestone for China, but also the deepening friendship and cooperation between our two nations. May this day inspire greater collaboration and cultural harmony between the two countries.” He further emphasized the importance of fostering mutual understanding and respect, noting, “Events like this strengthen our ties and enrich our academic and cultural landscape.”
Dr. Guo Yaling said, “China’s National Day is not just a celebration for us. but also a moment to reflect on the strong and enduring friendship between China and Pakistan. The exchange of knowledge, culture, and language through the Confucius Institute will continue to enhance this cooperation, fostering mutual respect and understanding. We are confident that this partnership will pave the way for a brighter future for both nations.”
