Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Promotion of religious tourism in Pakistan can generate millions of dollars – it helps in interfaith harmony as well as accelerating economic growth. Tourism facilities of high quality should be provided to the tourists from all over the world. This was stated by Syed Sadat Hussain Shah while addressing an event on the occasion of World Tourism Day, the event organized by Lake Shore Tourist City and Lakeshore Club members. Syed Sadat Hussain Shah said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in the United Nations General Assembly, was giving message of peace and development to the world. Syed Sadat Hussain Shah said that by focusing on religious tourism, we can make the tourist spots the center of attention for tourists across the country. While addressing, the other speakers presented important suggestions regarding the promotion of religious tourism.
