Birmingham, (PR) : Former President of the Kotli Bar Association and senior lawyer Chaudhry Mahboob Elahi Advocate has returned home after a successful visit to London. He was seen off at the airport by former Administrator of the Municipal Corporation of Kotli District and central leader of Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Muhammad Ilyas, along with other prominent personalities.While speaking on the occasion, Chaudhry Mahboob Elahi Advocate stated that efforts are being made to highlight the Kashmir issue and other related matters on international forums. He expressed his gratitude to the Kashmiri diaspora for their hospitality during his visit. He praised British-Kashmiris for their valuable contributions in consistently raising awareness about the Kashmir issue.Chaudhry Mahboob Elahi emphasized that foreign investment in Azad Kashmir could play a key role in resolving the region’s economic challenges. He acknowledged that British-Kashmiris are well aware of the difficulties facing the country and commended their seriousness and efforts to address these challenges.
He further expressed optimism about the resolution of the Kashmir issue, saying, “The day is not far when the Kashmir dispute will be resolved, and the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir will breathe in the air of freedom.” He also highlighted the importance of upholding the rule of law, stating, “True change will only be possible when justice prevails.He pointed out that Azad Kashmir offers vast opportunities for foreign investment and encouraged British-Kashmiris to invest in the region, saying that their efforts could transform the economic landscape of Azad Kashmir. During his visit to the UK, he consistently conveyed the message that the Kashmiri people need political and diplomatic support.
