Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : Member Provincial Assembly Punjab Rifat Abbasi has said that for the development of the country, there is an urgent need to develop the education sector on modern lines and to bring the students towards scaled education.
She added that in order to be safe from the effects of climate change, it is important that every citizen should plant a tree.
She was speaking as a special guest on the occasion of Hasan Qaraat and Naat competition among college students on the occasion of the month of Rabi-ul-Awal after planting trees in Satellite Town Post Graduate College Rawalpindi.
She congratulated the college management for securing positions in government colleges across Punjab. The chief guest also distributed prizes to the students who secured prominent positions across the division.
On this occasion, Principal Satellite Town College Professor Dr. Athar Qasim said that in 101 colleges across Punjab, discipline is number one in the field of education.
He added that due to the hard work of the teachers, they have succeeded in making the best educational institution in the government sector. In a few years, with this uniqueness, it will gain prominence across the country.
He said that we are proud of our students who are serving the country in various fields and will also benefit from the experience of overseas students.
On this occasion, the specially invited former president of Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists Abid Abbasi congratulated the students who won prominent positions in the competitions.
