Hopes, never dupes

Illustrating reality, and elaborating on the deep fruitful influence of the hidden blessing of hope, I wish to spotlight the significance of this powerful tool in life through referencing an encouraging poem, written by a renowned poet ( William Wadsworth Longfellow) in 1842, rendering best and real messages. The poem named as ‘ The Rainy Day ‘ incentivises and aims to elevate the down level of hope to peak in those, being discouraged and disgusted. Thanks goodness to him for his sublime work, and endeavours to infuse new spirit and forge courage in individuals, grappling with multifaceted challenges in life. Undoubtedly, hope as everyone body welly knows, is the sole instrument to deal with fluctuations, move forward and yield happiness. Surely, neither happiness nor sadness comes up permanent, but both are the part and parcel of life. Holding hope even triggers out courage and prosperity in sheer crises while its lack indeed emanates malaise in pleasing times. If hopes are never dupes, why, dear readers we entrench ourselves in quagmire and why our courage slips to the bottom of the ladder with encountering difficulties? It is disappointing and regrettable really. Must one always remember and repeat the following sentence ‘ if hopes were dupes, then fears would be liars ‘. Better to know is the only tool that sustains the world is hope, so what is crucial and indispensable is to equip ourselves with this blessing in order to march forward on the road to prosperity, peace and progress. Poet in the poem clearly claims that the life of considerable people remain fraught with isolation, disappointment and doldrums, and similarly large chunk of people encounter ruptures in relationships or grapple with financial constraints or the face the taunts and oppressions of others. All these life concerned obstacles are capable to mete out deterioration to ones courage and hope. All these, as adversities not only should be considered but on the other side of coin, these emerge as blessings in disguise, mounting hope, forging resilience and providing many important lessons to learn. In the poem’s drafts, a gorgeous line ‘ the vine still clings to the mouldering wall ‘ casts a profound message of hope as a patient lying on bed and hoping for his recovery, a driver driving and hoping for peaceful destination and a labourer working and hoping to earn to make food available for his children. Subsequently, what should we clearly apprehend that failure lies only in giving up hope, whereas success lies in remaining stronger and keep working while facing restraints. Furthermore, the poet exerts allusion on the next truth ‘ stress, anxiety and bleakness only stimulate when ones thoughts steer to the decaying past’. Allaying thinking about what happened despicable in past or thinking about what will happen in the coming time is necessary, and everyone should do identically. Contrary to this point of view, striving to craft what is going on better and beautiful will surely devise outstanding and delighting outcomes in life. Likewise, underscoring all factors that make one demoralised, despirited and disheartening is imperious. Amongst the biggest causes behind ones quagmires in life, lack of gratitude looms the most significant one, leading to unhappiness. To comprehend, what devises paucity in gratitude is the undesirable trend, comparing oneself with others and must one wrestle hardly to repel it out of life. In the same way, demanding before time and more than fortune are unfavourable trends, spawning dearth of gratefulness and much endeavours are required to quash them as they accentuate the root causes of all miseries. The key, assuredly, to confiscate and earn pleasure lies in remaining grateful to Alpha and Omega( The God) for every thing, He provides. Be well familiar with the following proverb ‘ first deserve, then desire’, emphasizing to work harder with zeal and zest to achieve ones aims of life. By adopting and undertaking these measures, hope and courage would ones get activated. In addition, understanding the fact happiness never abolishes as rain never ceases in this planet is undeniably compulsory. One can see really great smile and happiness on gardeners’ faces when trees implicated by the low supply of water or other factors once again embark bearing fruits, demonstrating the undying love and wealth of The Superior( The God). One must ponder, do the farmers know that their sowing seeds will turn into ripened crops? Yes, never. But, what keeps them appeased and contented is no doubt the hope of better consequences. Without clinching this thriving instrument, no road to development and progress. Now, the query inevitable to ask and know ‘ How to elevate and strengthen hope in life , may rise in the minds of many of you. As for the well growth of trees, first the sowing of vigorous seeds and then the supply of adequate water is required, and likewise, for developing the plant of hope, the supply of patience of water and provision of seeds of wisdom are crucial. Averting and abrogating the untenable habit, making self-comparison and developing gratitude are top of all necessary. All we must remember and reiterate these lines in our daily life: Be still sad heart, and cease repining, Behind the clouds is the sun still shining, Thy fate is the common fate of all, Into each life, some rain must fall, Some days must be dark and dreary, Some days of dillusion, but not all. Let us all work harder and harder, strive to uphold patience, strength hope and belief and shore up tolerance, boost gratitude, and subsequently remember that all these virtues never go unrewarded.
