Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : The land mafia is out of control and is threatening innocent people, forcing them to vacate their plots. The CPO Rawalpindi should take action against them. Muhammad Shahdeen, the complainant, stated that he and Ghazi Khan were on their land in Mohallah Gatiya to supervise some construction work when Amjad Shah and 10-15 armed men arrived and threatened to kill them if they didn’t leave the premises immediately.
Mr Amjad Shah, on behalf of Sajjad Shah, a resident of Scheme No. 2, is threatening to take over our occupied and owned land, spreading fear and terror. Eyewitnesses were present and managed to save us from the armed men. We immediately called 15, and the police arrived promptly. It’s important to note that Sajjad Shah has taken money from many poor people in the name of Rahman Valley Housing Scheme, but no one has received a plot yet, even after years. The public opinion is that the accused are involved in land grabbing and fraud. We request our CPO Rawalpindi to save us from the land mafia’s clutches.
