Network connectivity is the backbone of modern communication, yet Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest province, suffers from a severe lack of reliable network services. This digital divide hampers socio-economic progress, affecting daily life, businesses, and essential services. The province’s limited connectivity is plagued by frequent outages and poor network quality, disrupting critical services like banking, computer systems, and NADRA services. The majority of Balochistan remains without network coverage, exacerbating the digital divide and hindering development. Environmental factors further disrupt connectivity, highlighting the need for resilient infrastructure. The consequences of poor network connectivity are far-reaching, affecting education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Immediate action is necessary to address this critical issue. We urge the government to expand network coverage, upgrade existing infrastructure, and address environmental challenges. Improved network connectivity will unlock opportunities, foster growth, and enhance the quality of life for the people of Balochistan.
