Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Former Governor of Sindh Ishratul Abad has said that today we are celebrating Defense Day, the proudest day in the history of Pakistan. They are ready to make any sacrifice for the protection of
Ishratul-ebad was addressing the Defense Day event organized by Meri-e-Pakistan in Islamabad on Friday through video link. He said that Defense Day is a day of commitment to continuous struggle to maintain freedom. In 1965, the enemy attacked the independence and sovereignty of the country. But the enemy was not aware of the spirit of the armed forces. The armed forces are the shield of the country which protects the country in war and peace.
Ishratul Abad said the soldiers of our three forces get strength from the love of the nation. They create hatred and suspicion to destroy the unity between the enemy forces and the people. We have to understand their conspiracy. So that they can face every internal and external attack. The former governor of Sindh said that like the soldiers, the people also have to play a role to maintain the freedom of the country. As a result, we will emerge as a strong nation. The same spirit of 1965 is needed again. Defense Day is a day to commemorate the ghazis and martyrs. It is a day to remember the stories of unparalleled bravery. National Air Force Day will be on September 7, while Navy Day will be celebrated on September 8. In 1965, Pakistan Navy made a success story by defending the maritime borders.
He said, “I know that Pakistan has organized a beautiful ceremony in Islamabad. The ceremony is to inform the people about the sacrifices of the forces. Last year, the forces conducted 32,173 operations against terrorists. Terrorists were killed in these operations.” 193 young men have been martyred. An average of 130 operations are carried out daily, which indicates that forces and soldiers are still in the field for national defense.
The former governor of Sindh said that the relationship with the army and the lack of respect for it weakens the country’s defense. Gaps between.
