London, (PR) : Former Chairman of PYO UK and President of Kashmir Affairs Europe, Syed Shehzad Haider Kazmi, has strongly demanded that the Azad Kashmir government immediately arrest drug dealers in the Kotli district and bring them to justice. He called for those who are regularly addicting youths to drugs to be brought before the courts and given the harshest penalties. He expressed these views while speaking to a delegation of youths. He stated that drug dealers are poisoning the lives of the region’s youth and such elements cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. There is a need for awareness, consciousness, and stringent measures to protect the youth from drugs. He emphasized that young people are a valuable asset to any country, and if the younger generation is engulfed in the degradation of drug addiction, the future of the country will be at risk. Efforts must be made to save youths from the curse of drugs and to direct them towards positive activities. Drug addiction is a societal scourge, and the Azad Kashmir government should take urgent measures to eliminate it.
