I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent increasing disease monkeypox. Monkeypox was first reported in 1958, when a scabies disease was introduced to monkeys for research purposes. That is why the disease was called “monkey pox”. The virus is common in animals, but it can infect humans as well as monkeys. Symptoms of monkeypox include fever, headache, muscle aches, fatigue, and skin rashes that later develop into rashes or blisters. The disease usually resolves on its own, but in some cases it can be severe Monkeypox is not usually fatal, but in some cases it can be dangerous, especially if the patient is already in poor health or if the virus is more severe. The severity of the illness can vary, but most people recover on their own within a few weeks. However, the disease can have more serious consequences in people with weakened immune systems, children, and the elderly. The disease is usually transmitted from infected animals to humans, and human-to-human spread occurs through close physical contact or contaminated objects. Over time, the disease has also emerged in different countries, especially in areas where people travel from African countries.
