London, (PR ) : Former Chairman of Pakistan Youth Organization (PYO) UK and President of Kashmir Affairs Europe, Syed Shehzad Haider Kazmi, has expressed deep sorrow and regret over the passing of Sardar Muhammad Bashir Pehalwan, former advisor to the government and former candidate for the Legislative Assembly of Sehnsa constituency, and a central leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Azad Kashmir. In his condolence message, Syed Shehzad Haider Kazmi stated that the death of Sardar Muhammad Bashir Pehalwan, the ‘Sardar of Sardars,’ a true loyalist of the PPP, and a ‘Messiah of the poor,’ is a great tragedy. He emphasized that Sardar Muhammad Bashir Pehalwan’s contributions to the freedom struggle of Kashmir and the development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, including the Sehnsa constituency, deserve our utmost respect and tribute. He further added that Sardar Muhammad Bashir Pehalwan was a devoted soldier of the Bhutto family and a staunch supporter of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Politically, he was a person of positive thinking. He remained associated with the PPP until his last breath and was a great asset to the party. His demise has left the PPP without a brave leader, and he was a true proponent of democracy. We appreciate Sardar Muhammad Bashir Pehalwan’s services to the party. He was, in the truest sense, a dedicated worker of the party who struggled for democracy alongside Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. We all pray that Allah Almighty grants complete forgiveness and mercy to Sardar Muhammad Bashir Pehalwan and bestows great reward and patience upon his family and every worker of Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Kashmir. Ameen, Thumma Ameen.
