CISS-AJK and KIIR Commemorate the 3rd Death Anniversary of Syed Ali Shah Gillani

Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : CISS-AJK in collaboration with the (KIIR) commemorated the third death anniversary of the renowned Kashmiri leader, Syed Ali Shah Gillani by organizing a roundtable discussion on the subject.
Dr. Asma Shakir Khawaja, Executive Director of CISS-AJK, and Mr. Altaf Wani, Chairman of KIIR, paid tribute to Gillian’s lifelong struggle for the right to self-determination for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Both highlighted the immense hardships Gillani faced at the hands of occupational forces, noting that much of his life was spent under house arrest. Despite this, his resolve remained unshaken, and his dedication to the Kashmir cause became a symbol of hope and resistance for the oppressed people of IIOJK.

Syed Gillian’s famous statement “We are Pakistani and Pakistan is ours” was also highlighted during the discussion.
