Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : The National Book Foundation (NBF) and Read Foundation have announced the organization of a mega book fair. The fair will be held in Muzaffarabad, AJK, from August 26 to August 28, 2024. This event is designed to promote reading habits in the region and bring together educational institutions, literary figures, and the public.
According to the details, NBF Secretary Murad Ali Mehmood and Assistant Director Aswad Deed recently had a successful meeting in Muzaffarabad with key representatives of the Read Foundation. The meeting included Read Foundation’s Director of Academics Muhammad Zubair Sajid, Director of Finance Shaukat Rasool Pandit, Chairman Professor Ghulam Mustafa, and Chief Librarian Farhat Hussain Kazmi.
The aim of the mega book fair is to foster a love for reading among students and the public. All educational institutions, including government and private colleges (both male and female), will be invited. Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner and esteemed literary figures will also attend the event. This joint venture between NBF and Read Foundation will be a significant step towards the intellectual growth of the community.
