Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has directed the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to clear landslide area to restore normal flow of traffic on the main highway.
The PM said this after inspecting landslide hit area near Dulai that blocked the Muzaffarabad-Rawalpindi high way to all sorts of traffic yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, the PM said that the landslide debris should be cleared as soon as possible to restore normal flow of traffic on the highway.
He said that traffic should be diverted towards alternative routes so that the people do not face any kind of problem.
On this occasion the PM was given a detailed briefing on the measures being taken by the state disaster management authority. DG SDMA told the PM that the administration, officials and staff of all the relevant departments were present at the spot and heavy machinery was being used to clear the debris.
Chief Secretary Dawood Muhammad Barich, Director General State Disaster Management Authority Masoodur Rahman and other relevant officials were also present on this occasion.
