Education is not related to any gender, because it is considered as the basic right of men and women. While the world is progressing day by day in terms of educational standards, on the other hand, many students have been losing their intellectual and creative abilities due to academic pressure. A high rate of educational stress is seen almost as common in a number of underdeveloped countries in which institutions, parents of students and sometimes governments in the country play a major role. The world is going to gather new ideas of educational standards such as multimedia classes, laboratory practices etc. In today’s world, where every field is showing its excellence, some students are unable to achieve the success despite having their best efforts to achieve these advancements. Education is the basic right of every human being, but some children cannot enjoy this right properly. There may be some specific reasons behind this, including educational pressure, poverty, domestic problems, lack of interest in education and not choosing the right field etc. For these reasons, some students suffer academic stress from school, some from college and most of them from university life. Stress is also involved in these interactions, whereby the student perceives himself as a failure compared to others. “Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It can come from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or nervous.” Stress is a common factor that largely diminishes individual morale. It develops when a person cannot handle their inner and outer feelings. When the stress becomes chronic or exceeds a certain level, it affects an individual’s mental health and may lead to different psychological disorders, such as depression. It is also written on the Monash University’s website that “Academic stress is one of the biggest causes of stress, anxiety, and depression among university students and it is very common and it can become quite overwhelming at times.” “Focus on improving, not proving.” Academic stress may be the single most dominant stress factor that affects the mental well-being of students. Some students have a very good grasping ability, which makes them learn much faster than others, which can either be due to nature or due to heredity, but most of the students have less ability to grasp academic activities than others. According to the “World Health Organization”, depression was ranked third among the global burden of disease and predicted to take over first place by 2030. In the current highly competitive academic environment, students’ performance is largely affected by several factors, such as social media, academic quality, family and social bonding, etc as well. First of all we have to fix the home environment of the child. The increasing tendency of children to give mobile phones can be quite harmful in the future, so we have to take steps to protect children from this harm, with which children pay special attention to books only. Pay special attention to the children who the child sits with. Children should be given freedom from domestic affairs so that they can devote more of their time to studies. They should be given opportunities to improve their intellectual skills such as games, drawing, walking around and collecting knowledge etc. They should be treated equally at home, at school and in society. Due to the academic stress, children of all ages are worried for a long time and they do not have any expectations from the society. The child starts making wrong decisions in his life. The child starts hanging out in the wrong company. There is a dire need for us to take some concerted action to remove academic pressure and improve the skills of students.
