It is known that the independence movement cannot be developed on revolutionary lines from the platform of the referendum. Therefore, Maqbool Butt, along with Amanullah Khan and other colleagues, established an underground organization called the National Liberation Front, which The aim was to give the people of Jammu and Kashmir the right to determine the political future of the state as the sole owner of the state through all kinds of struggle including armed struggle. He will work on the political front in Azad Kashmir and Pakistan, while in addition to the political front in Indian Occupied Kashmir, he will pave the way for the armed struggle.
