Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani addressed the convention “Youth — Pivot of National Integration” organized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Islamabad. The convention emphasized the crucial role of the youth in fostering unity and diversity within the nation.

In his speech, the Chairman Senate commended the HEC for bringing together a diverse group of individuals from across Pakistan. He expressed gratitude for the blessings of Allah Almighty, acknowledging Pakistan as a great country with unparalleled institutions and armed forces worldwide.

Highlighting the global perspective gained through his travels, Chairman Senate emphasized the value of Pakistan’s skilled and hardworking population, contrasting it with nations possessing more resources but lacking similar human capital. He urged the nation to work diligently, assuring that hard work would be rewarded.

Acknowledging the significant contributions of HEC in establishing universities in Balochistan, the Chairman Senate noted the positive transformation in the province’s mindset. He cited examples of progress, including improved infrastructure, electricity, and the establishment of a university in District Chaghi, the largest district in Pakistan.

Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani emphasized the importance of strong institutions and competent teachers in driving national progress. He encouraged a shift away from promoting hopelessness, asserting that Pakistan possesses abundant resources.

Expressing pride in Balochistan’s development, he called upon the youth to actively contribute to the nation’s progress. He emphasized that every individual is part of the governance system, urging them to play a vital role in the country’s development.

Rejecting a colonial-era mindset, Chairman Senate reminded the audience that Pakistan is a free and sovereign nation with collective responsibilities. He applauded the youth for holding those in power accountable and stressed the need for unity to overcome challenges.

Chairman Senate also invited HEC to collaborate for organizing a similar youth convention in Gwadar or Quetta, Balochistan, post-elections, highlighting the importance of engaging the youth in shaping the nation’s future.
