    SWL police launched crackdown on weapons, black windows after Section 144

    WANA: District Police Officer Farman Ullah and DC South Waziristan Lower Mohammad Nasir Khan launched a crackdown by imposing a ban on display of weapons and tinted windows and glasses of vehicles, Section 144 was imposed across the district on Sunday.

    A heavy police force has been deployed in Wana, Toi Khullah, Azam Warsak, Shakai and operations have been started against weapons and black glasses.

    The district administration and the police have appealed to the general public to avoid display of weapons and requested the public to cooperate with the police in this regard.

    District Police Officer Farman Ullah has deployed a heavy police force in Wana, Toi Khullah, Azam Warsak, Shakai while taking strict action against cleaning black glasses from weapons and vehicles.

    South Waziristan Lower Police under the supervision and instructions of District Police Officer Farman Ullah have set up blockades at various places.

    Regular operations have been started by strictly banning the display of weapons and black glasses.

    DPO said that no one can be allowed to roam around Azam with weapons.
    He said that immediate action will be taken against those who take the law into their hands.
