Sargodha :The Department of Politics & International Relations (IR), organized a seminar titled ‘’Understanding of Contemporary China and China-Pakistan Relations’’ here at the University of Sargodha (UoS) on Tuesday.
The keynote speakers included the Director of Pakistan Institute of China Studies Dr. Fazul ur Rehman and the Department of Politics & IR Chairperson Dr. Asiya Saif Alvi shared their valuable insights on China’s modern development, its significance with Pakistan’s bilateral relationship and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
They emphasized the importance of understanding China’s political, economic, and cultural aspects for enhancing connectivity with Pakistan.
The speakers also stressed that the Pakistan-China friendship has grown from strength to strength, where both countries enjoy a symbiotic relationship based on mutual trust, goodwill, and close cooperation.
The event also featured an engaging question-and-answer session where students had the opportunity to interact with keynote speakers who shared depth of knowledge on various topics.
In an answer to a question, Dr. Fazul ur Rehman highlighted China’s commitment to collaborating skill-based programs across all universities in Pakistan for the development of education in Pakistan.
The seminar was concluded by Dr. Asiya Saif Alvi presenting an honorary shield to Dr. Fazul ur Rehman.
