Buner, (Parliament Times): Addressing the press conference, Jamaat-e-Islami’s District Vice-Amir and nominated candidate for Provincial Assembly Engineer Nasir Ali Khan said that the free electricity that is being used by the elite should be stopped immediately. Jamaat-e-Islami welcomes the ongoing operation against but first of all the institutions should start it themselves because the government offices in Buner district alone use free electricity worth Rs.6 crore. On this occasion, he also said that the district Buner is a tax-free district so GST tax should be removed from electricity bills.

Meters should be given to them and WAPDA officials should avoid harassing people unnecessarily. Engineer Nasir Ali Khan also strongly demanded to end the unannounced shutdown of electricity to the people in the name of the firm, which has been going on for many months. In the press conference, Engineer Nasir Ali Khan formally announced a Public Aid Committee organized by Jamaat-e-Islami.
