Islamabad,(Parliament Times) :The post of Chief Officer has been vacant for three months in MCI of Federal Capital Islamabad. Due to the non-appointment of the chief officer, hundreds of employees in around 50 union councils of Islamabad are deprived of three months’ salary, while it has become difficult to run most of the affairs of union councils. In this era of inflation, it has become impossible for most of the poor employees of the union councils to even run their homes due to the salary freeze. In this regard, there is a strong appeal to the authority to appoint a chief officer in MCI as soon as possible so that the salaries of the employees, which have been delayed for 03 months, would be released.
