Lahore (Hamid Javaid Awan): Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi’s China visit accomplished. Mohsin Naqvi’s China visit remained highly beneficial concerning bilateral relations, especially enhancing cooperation in the agriculture and industry sectors. The Chinese media gave special significance and prominent coverage to CM’s visit. Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Ningxia International Friendship Citizen Forum comprising more than 18 countries. He was the first Chief Minister in the history of Pakistan who inaugurated this forum. CM Mohsin Naqvi made an important address at the Ningxia Friendship Citizen Forum & emphasized peace and prosperity for a bright future in the region. CM in his address declared peace as indispensable between Pakistan-China relations. Owing to the endeavors of CM Mohsin Naqvi, an agreement on the documents was signed to declare Sahiwal and Bahawalpur as “Sister Cities” with the Chinese cities. Sahiwal and Wuzhong, Bahawalpur, and Zong Wei will collaborate in all sectors. Sister Cities will assist in the economy, trade, science, and technology sectors. Sister cities will provide cooperation for the promotion of education, agriculture, health, culture, and tourism. The prominent officials of “Sister Cities” and concerned departments will exchange mutual delegations and technology.
Mohsin Naqvi also visited Ningxia General Hospital and Medical University. CM Mohsin Naqvi inspected solid waste management, safe city cameras, policing, and road infrastructure in Beijing. CM Mohsin Naqvi held an important meeting with the Communist Party Secretary Liang Ya Shong at Yangchuan while two Vice Governors organized ceremonies in his honor. The ministerial delegation of Punjab participated in the 6th China-Arab Expo at Yangchuan. Mohsin Naqvi acknowledged that the Government of China and government officials accorded him and the delegation a warm welcome. CM Mohsin Naqvi said that in the backdrop of China’s visit, immediate steps will be taken to provide relief to the people of Punjab along with the provision of expeditious services in an improved manner. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi during the visit to the Democratic Republic of China along with his Cabinet Members remained very busy to visit different locations besides attending various events. CM Punjab managed to get maximum information and outcomes of Chinese projects so that this success story could be implemented in Punjab to benefit the people of the province. During the official visit to China not only Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi but also the other delegates from the Punjab Government spent their time observing the technology, management, and evaluation process of Chinese companies and government departments. On the invitation of Moshan Naqvi various Trade Delegations and Technologists from China visited Pakistan which would help to promote bilateral trade commerce and Technology development endeavors. As a consequence of this visit, it is expected that new opportunities for employment and business will be opened not only in Pakistan but also in China.
