Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Latif Akbar has said that Pakistan has always supported the fundamental right of Kashmiri people to self-determination. The time for the freedom of Kashmiris is not far away. The coalition government of Azad Kashmir is striving for public service. They will ensure the fair distribution of funds allocated to refugees living in Jammu and Kashmir in Pakistan.
He was addressing the reception given in his honor by the newly elected president of Gilreez Housing Society, Syed Ashfaq Bukhari. He congratulated Gulrez Housing Society President Syed Ashfaq Bukhari and other newly elected officials and expressed good wishes.
Earlier, the Speaker of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was given a warm welcome on his arrival at the reception. President of Gulriz Housing Society Syed Ashfaq Bukhari, political and social leader, and former Member Chaudhry Asif Advocate, Special Assistant to Speaker Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly Syed Izadar Hussain Kazmi, former president of Gulriz Society Syed Ishtiaq Bukhari, Patron General of Gulriz Society Shaheen Group Malik Abrar Hussain, Political and social personality Sardar Saeed Akhtar and other speakers also addressed.
Speaking on this occasion, Speaker of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Chaudhry Latif Akbar said that Pakistan has made a principled demand for a fair solution to the Kashmir issue and implementation of the United Nations resolutions on every platform. He said that the state of Pakistan, especially the people of Pakistan, has always supported the right of self-determination of Kashmiris. Time is not far when the Indian rule over Occupied Kashmir will end and Kashmir will become independent and join Pakistan. Chaudhry Latif Akbar further said that the current coalition government of Azad Kashmir is actively working to resolve public issues and develop the region despite all the difficulties and challenges.
A comprehensive policy is also being formulated to eliminate unemployment and control inflation in Azad Kashmir. Speaker Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly said that the government of Azad Kashmir is also taking priority measures regarding the resettlement of the refugees of Jammu and Kashmir living in Pakistan and other matters and is following a coordinated policy to ensure the fair distribution of funds allocated for the refugees of Jammu and Kashmir.
