Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : MQM’s former parliamentary leader and former Minister of Tourism and Transport Muhammad Tahir Khokhar said that injustice is being done to the people of Azad Kashmir, WAPDA and the government of Pakistan are acting on their agenda. Do and adhere to it, under the agreement, there is free electricity for the people of Azad Kashmir, from Mangala Dam, but after that, small and big power projects including Neelum Jhelum, Paterand, Jagran, Gulpur have been built, but the people of Azad Kashmir are not getting it. Electricity is not being provided, but they are taking electricity from here and selling it back to us at a high price. The electricity generated in Kashmir should be given to the people of the state at the cost of production and not expensive electricity. He said that the present situation Pakistan is going through a difficult situation, we realize it, but the Kashmiri people should not be pushed below the poverty level by making the Kashmiri people an issue of the IMF or any other organization. Unjust taxes are creating hatred among the Kashmiri people, the rulers should not take such a decision, due to which differences between the Kashmiri people and Pakistan will arise. has nothing to do with the IMF, the promises and agreements made with the Kashmiri people should be implemented. The Kashmiri people are only asking for their legitimate rights. He said that it is the duty of the government of Pakistan to fulfill the promises it has made to the people of Kashmir. But they did not give importance to the interests and interests of the Kashmiri people, they did not give importance to their power, because of which today Azad Kashmir is suffering from problems. The entire Kashmiri nation should support them so that we can get our legitimate right.
