Rawalakot, (Parliament Times) : Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Kashmir Poonch thanked the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and his entire team for giving five key posts in the Poonch Division and issuing notification. They said that the destiny of this division would change with this administrative package of the Prime Minister.
Here on Thursday at Ghazi Millat Press Club Rawalkot, former government minister and party central leader Abid Hussain Abid, municipal councilor and PPP Poonch president Sardar Amir Khurshid, former government adviser and PPP constituency president Sardar Hameed Afzal, the advocate of Bar Association, former president and leader of the party Raja Ejaz Advocate, Chairman Union Council Ali Sujal Sardar Tasdeeq Hussain, Vice Chairman District Council Poonch Sardar Imtiaz, Sardar Waheed Khan Councilor and President Contractor Association Poonch, Sadam Khan Advocate said in a joint press conference said that the creation and notification of the posts of Chief Engineers and two Divisional Directors will solve the problems of our people, especially the poor, and relieve those who bear additional burdens in the rotation of these offices.
They added that some posts were the right of the division, but the posts of chief engineers are more than the division. While the Prime Minister and his cabinet are grateful for the creation and notification of these posts, they are grateful to all their friends, including former Prime Minister Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan. They said that the role of Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan is the most important in the construction and development of Poonch.
These leaders said,” We are lucky that even when Abid Hussain Abid had power, he worked vigorously according to his chessboard,”. The fortunes of this division will change after the creation of the posts of Chief Engineers. The funds of the division will be increased. The leaders of the People’s Party also demanded that the Prime Minister should announce a major development package to end the deprivations of the division and address the excessive electricity taxes and other issues across Azad Kashmir. A committee should be formed to resolve these issues, especially regarding electricity bills, permanently.
